The service is free

Booking and managing meeting rooms in Lokale costs nothing. There is no licence fee, no charge per user, and no trial that expires. If you want us to set your building up for you, migrate data or train your people, that is a separate paid service we agree in writing beforehand.

Creating a building

Anyone can create a building: you confirm your email address, and the building is created right away on its own address. Automated abuse protection applies, and in busy periods a request may be held briefly for a manual review. We may decline a request, ask for more information, or remove a building that violates these terms.

The person who creates a building becomes its administrator and is responsible for who they give access to, and for the content their users create.

Acceptable use

Use Lokale for booking rooms and managing your building. Do not attempt to access other buildings' data, probe or attack the service, send unsolicited email through it, or use it to break the law.

We may suspend or remove an account or a building that does any of the above, or that goes unused for a long time. Where practical we will contact the administrator first.

Your data is yours

You keep ownership of everything you put into Lokale. You can ask us for an export or a deletion at any time. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Lokale running and secure, but a free service is provided as it is, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or of fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a meeting that did not happen because a booking was unavailable.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Significant changes are communicated to building administrators by email. You can stop using Lokale at any time and ask us to delete your building.
